 "A REMINDER IN THE STORM"

Life has a way of hitting hard.

Life has a way of testing us. For me, that meant losing my dad, sister, mom, and grandmother—all before 40. Add a painful breakup and a lost 7-figure contract that nearly tanked my business, and I was left questioning how God could allow so much suffering.

Around that time, I heard: “Southern people are nice, and Northern people are kind.” This got me thinking about the difference. Niceness is about comfort and keeping the peace, but kindness is about doing what’s best, even when it’s hard.

To stay grounded, I started saying, “God is Kind,” as a mantra. At first, it was to convince myself that God wasn’t being cruel. But over time, it became a lived truth. I realized I had been seeking a nice God—one who would bless and protect me from pain. But that’s not who God is. We serve a kind God.

A nice God might have shielded me from pain, but a kind God held me accountable and let me walk through the fire to shape me. His kindness is about doing what’s best for us, even when it’s tough. He’s intentional about our growth and refinement.

James 1:2-4 says it perfectly: “Consider it pure joy when you face trials of many kinds, because the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”

This "God is Kind" collection is for believers who’ve walked through the storm. It’s a reminder that God’s kindness isn’t about making life easy—it’s about making us better. When you wear these items, let them remind you: we don’t serve a nice God. We serve a kind God—committed to our growth, purpose, and ultimate good.

FAITH IN BLACK & WHITE

In ministry, certain uniforms carry deep significance. A preacher in their black civic attire is instantly recognizable, whether they’re offering comfort in a hospital or standing firm in a courtroom. An usher in her white uniform is a beacon at the door, embodying warmth and order. These garments aren’t just clothing—they’re symbols of service, worn with honor and purpose.

Our collections, though they may feature t-shirts and hoodies instead of traditional attire, is designed with that same spirit in mind. The black with white lettering is a nod to those who serve, both in the church and beyond. It’s a reminder that, whether in ministry or in the marketplace, we are called to be light carriers—people who live out our faith through our actions, wherever we are.

These pieces are more than just fashion; they’re a reflection of a life dedicated to God and others. When you wear them, you’re not just putting on clothes—you’re putting on a reminder of the calling to serve, to lead, and to shine your light in every space you enter.
